Chrome Web Store Limited Use Compliance Statement
IAUC Bidding Helper V3's use of information received from Chrome APIs and user data complies with the
Chrome Web Store User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements. Data collected is used solely to provide and improve features
visible to the user within the extension. Data is not transferred, sold, or used for purposes unrelated
to the extension's single stated purpose: assisting users with bidding at Japanese auto auction websites.
Section 01
Extension Purpose & Single-Use Declaration
IAUC Bidding Helper V3 has a single, clearly defined purpose: to assist registered
users in viewing, filtering, and placing bids at Japanese vehicle auction platforms —
specifically IAUC (iauc.co.jp), TAA (taacaa.jp), and
CarVX (carvx.jp).
Single-purpose declaration
This extension does not collect, use, or transmit user data for any purpose other than directly
operating its auction-assistance features as described in this policy. No background data collection,
analytics, advertising, or profiling occurs at any time.
The extension operates exclusively on the following domains and activates only when the user
navigates to those websites:
https://*.iauc.co.jp/*
https://*.taacaa.jp/*
https://*.carvx.jp/*
The extension does not run on any other website, does not execute remotely hosted
code, and does not inject scripts into pages outside the three domains listed above.
Section 02
Permissions Justification
The following permissions are declared in the extension's manifest.json. Each
permission is used exclusively for the purpose described. No permission is requested beyond
what is necessary for core functionality.
Permission
Justification & purpose
clipboardWrite
Used to enable the "Copy to clipboard" feature in the extension UI, allowing users
to quickly copy lot numbers, vehicle information, or bid details to their clipboard
for external use.
Data accessed: only data the user explicitly selects and copies.
host_permissions (6 domains)
https://*.iauc.co.jp/*, https://*.taacaa.jp/*,
https://sayuri.co.jp/*, http://oliac.com/*,
https://autoauction-v2.pages.dev/*, https://jjiauc.com/*
— grants the extension's content scripts access to interact with pages on these
auction/auction-related websites only. No broad host permission (<all_urls>)
is requested.
Data accessed: page content on permitted auction domains only.
content_scripts
Inline content scripts are declared in the manifest and injected into the permitted
auction website pages to parse auction listings, extract vehicle data, and display
the extension's bidding UI. All scripts are bundled with the extension package;
no remote code is loaded or executed at runtime.
Data accessed: DOM content of permitted auction pages only.
No remote code execution
This extension does not load or execute any JavaScript, WebAssembly, or other code from
external servers at runtime. All extension code is packaged within the Chrome Web Store
submission and reviewed at submission time.

Section 04
Data Storage
Data processed in-memory only
This extension processes auction page data in memory for display purposes. Since the
extension declares no storage permission, it does not persist user data
beyond the current browsing session. All data is temporary and session-based.
The extension reads data from auction website pages (vehicle listings, lot numbers, prices)
and displays this information to the user within the extension UI. Once the user closes the
page or the browser, this data is not retained by the extension.
No remote data storage
Micro Data Tech does not operate any servers that receive, store, or retain any data from
this extension. All data processing happens within your browser.
Section 05
All Third Parties & Data Recipients
The following is a complete and exhaustive list of all parties that may
receive data as a result of using this extension. No other party receives data.
Auction websites (data transmitted by design)
When you interact with the extension to place bids or query auction data, the extension
transmits data to the auction website on your behalf — exactly as if you had performed the
same action directly in your browser without the extension.
IAUC iauc.co.jp
Receives: lot numbers, bid amounts, auction account credentials (via existing session),
vehicle selection actions, and any data you enter via the extension UI on IAUC pages. Governed by IAUC's own privacy policy. Review at iauc.co.jp.
TAA taacaa.jp
Receives: lot numbers, bid amounts, auction account credentials (via existing session),
vehicle selection actions, and any data you enter via the extension UI on TAA pages. Governed by TAA's own privacy policy. Review at taacaa.jp.
CarVX carvx.jp
Receives: lot numbers, bid amounts, auction account credentials (via existing session),
vehicle selection actions, and any data you enter via the extension UI on CarVX pages. Governed by CarVX's own privacy policy. Review at carvx.jp.
Micro Data Tech (extension developer)
Micro Data Tech receives zero user data
Micro Data Tech does not operate servers that receive, store, log, or process any data
generated by this extension. No telemetry, crash reports, analytics, or usage data is
transmitted to Micro Data Tech at any time.
Google / Chrome (browser platform)
Because this extension uses only chrome.storage.local and not
chrome.storage.sync, Google does not receive extension data through the
storage API. Standard Chrome browser activity (DNS, Safe Browsing checks, etc.) is
governed by Google's privacy policy and occurs independently of this extension.
Parties that do NOT receive data
Advertising networks or ad brokers
Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment)
Social media platforms
Data brokers or data aggregators
Payment processors (no payment data is handled by the extension)
Any government or law enforcement agency (unless legally compelled — Micro Data Tech holds no user data to disclose)
Any other third party not listed above
Section 06
Data Flow
The complete data flow is illustrated below. There are three stages:
01
User input
You enter bids, select lots, set preferences on an auction website page
→
02
Extension (local only)
Data processed in memory or saved to chrome.storage.local on your device. Micro Data Tech cannot access this.
→
03
Auction website
Bid/query data sent to auction site — same as direct browser interaction. Governed by their policy.
Important
Once data reaches auction website servers (stage 03), it is governed entirely by the auction
website's own privacy policy and terms. Micro Data Tech has no visibility into, access to,
or control over data once it leaves your browser toward the auction website.
Section 07
Data Not Collected & Not Shared
We do not sell user data
Micro Data Tech does not sell, rent, license, or otherwise transfer user data to any third
party for any consideration. This applies to all data in all forms.
The extension explicitly does not collect or transmit:
Passwords, authentication tokens, or login credentials (these are handled entirely by the auction website's own login system)
Payment card numbers, bank details, or any financial instrument data
Browsing history outside the three permitted auction domains
Health, biometric, or sensitive personal information of any kind
Data from users under 13 years of age (see Children's Privacy below)
The extension does not use data for:
Advertising or marketing purposes
Behavioral profiling or user tracking across sessions
Training machine learning models
Competitive intelligence
Any purpose unrelated to the extension's stated single purpose
Section 08
Data Retention & Deletion
Cached auction data
Retained in local extension storage until the user clears it via extension settings or uninstalls the extension.
Vehicle lists & notes
Retained until the user manually deletes them or uninstalls the extension. User may export lists before deletion.
Bid history
Retained locally for user reference. Individual entries may be deleted at any time. All entries deleted on uninstall.
Preferences & settings
Retained until the user changes them or uninstalls the extension.
Error logs
Stored locally only. Never transmitted. Deleted on uninstall.
On uninstall
All extension-stored data is permanently and automatically deleted from the user's device when the extension is uninstalled via Chrome extension management.
